What is SumUp?
SumUp is a card reader provider which enables merchants to accept credit card and debit card payments anywhere at any time using their cost-efficient devices. The SumUp Air enables you to do many features such as tipping, share, send, and print receipts, view your sales history, as well as manage employees.


What Cards Does the SumUp Air accept?
With the SumUp Air you can accept any of the cards which display a Visa, V PAY, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, or Union Pay logo as well as NFC payments via Google and Apple Pay. You may also accept international cards that have been issued outside of the country, as long as it has one of the logos listed.


How long will my card reader last?
With a simple USB charging cable, it's easy to use and recharge, a single charge can last as long as 500 transactions.


How much is it?
The price point of the SumUp Air is £19 whereas typical card readers are on average about £210.


How is it different to other card readers?
The SumUp Air is a wireless card reader, this is handy as its perfect for people who work in a food truck or mobile hairdresser who can’t exactly plug into a till al the time. The SumUp Air uses 3G connection via your mobile phone or tablet, making transactions an easy process.
