nexpay continue to Shine

nexpay understand the importance of working with the community and we are proud to have supported and sponsored Shine for 5 years now.

Through sponsoring Shine’s Virtual Balloon Race, nexpay can help support those affected by spina bifida and hydrocephalus (build-up of fluid on the brain) from birth and throughout life. This support also extends to parents, families, carers and professional care staff. Shine enables people to get the best out of life and we are proud to be a part of this.

Throughout the year, Shine run 10 virtual balloon races where people can buy a virtual balloon which can be decorated and tracked online for its entire journey. This is an event that we love being involved with. The next virtual balloon race is on the 5th June 2017 and you can follow our balloons here: www.shinevirtualballoonrace.com or get involved and sponsor your own!

Sebastian Wood, nexpay Managing Director, says that “I chose to support Shine 5 years ago when I heard about support and services they offer. Having a family member with a disability, I know and understand the daily struggles that some people face and the support that is required. Shine support not only those with disabilities but the families and carers too and we want to help out where we can”.

Mark Kerr, Shine’s Marketing and Communications Manager said "We at Shine are working to make a positive difference to the lives of people affected by spina bifida, hydrocephalus, and associated conditions. The support we receive from our corporate donors help us to deliver vital services to more than 11,000 members across England, Wales and Northern Ireland"

"We're incredibly grateful to nexpay for their regular contributions - without their support and that of our many fundraisers, the work we do to engage, enable and empower people affected by these lifelong conditions simply wouldn't be possible"
