Topic: Merchant Accounts (Wed 28th Aug 2019)
Our company currently holds a Pan EEA (European Economic Area) License with sponsor Bank's and registrations with Visa/ Mastercard.
This means we can set up merchant accounts for businesses within the EU.
For this specific EEA payment collection, we can have your payments processed in 14 currencies; GBP, EUR, USD, CAD, DKK, NOK, SEK, NZD, AUD, CHF, PLN, HKD, JPY, ZAR.
These currencies will be subject to either the Visa or Mastercard FX (Foreign Exchange) fees
The acquiring will issue a statement per currency if this is required and the settlement of funds and acquirer charges can either be in GBP, USD or EUR.
We would recommend using a Bank account set up in the settlement currencies to avoid FX fees.
