We have become aware of isolated cases whereby terminals, that have been idle and unused for several months, have stopped working. This is of course having a direct impact on merchants being able to easily re-open for trading tomorrow, and in the coming weeks.
We would strongly urge our customers, who are considering re-opening, to do full physical checks on their terminals, and run a test transaction to ensure everything is working.
Should you find there is an issue with your machine this fault is covered under warranty, and you will need to contact Ingenico with your merchant number, trading address and terminal details to arrange for a replacement to be dispatched.
*Ingenico are managing high levels of call-in's at the moment and so all request for next day delivery need to be called in by 4pm the previous day.
